HamariLife in Flow
Our story

It started with a very ordinary Tuesday

There was no dramatic resignation. No savings account that made it easy. Just a slow realisation that the life we kept postponing was the only one we actually wanted.

Before

The life we were told to want

A steady job, a fixed address, two weeks of leave a year that we spent recovering rather than living. We were not unhappy. We were just quietly aware that our children were growing up faster than our plans were moving.

For four years, we kept saying next year.

The life we were told to want
The turn

Learning that skills travel

For a long time, they felt like they were working hard without getting the financial reward they hoped for. In Pakistan, local salaries simply were not enough for the life and future they wanted to build. Then Hamza got accepted into Toptal, and everything changed. He started working with clients from around the world and getting paid in dollars, without having to leave Pakistan or be tied to a particular location. For the first time, he saw that the value of his skills did not have to be limited by where he lived.

That experience changed the way they thought about work and opportunity. Geography no longer felt like a boundary. They realised that skills could travel, clients could be anywhere, and a better future did not necessarily require moving first. Hamza had simply taken what he knew how to build and connected it to a global market, and that became one of the biggest turning points in their journey.

Learning that skills travel
The leap

One suitcase each, and the children

We left with less than we should have and more fear than we admitted at the time. The first months were not romantic. Slow internet in the mountains. A visa refused. A stretch where income went to almost nothing and we questioned the whole thing.

We stayed. Partly stubbornness, mostly because the children were thriving in a way that answered the question for us.

Now

Teaching the thing we needed

People started asking how. Not vaguely. Specifically. Which companies hire from Pakistan? What do I put on a CV with no experience? How do I sell something digital when I have no audience?

So we wrote it all down and gave most of it away. The paid courses exist for the people who want a hand held through it. The free resources exist because nobody helped us and it took us years longer than it needed to.

The children

Deschooling ourselves first

The question we are asked most is not about money. It is about the children. What about school?

The honest answer is that we had to deschool ourselves before we could teach them anything. There were months of quietly panicking that they were falling behind, of trying to rebuild a classroom at a kitchen table in a rented flat, of measuring them against a syllabus they were no longer sitting. Deschooling is the part nobody warns you about, because it is the parents who have to unlearn, not the children.

Their classroom

Worldschooling, once we let go

What replaced it is worldschooling. History in the places it actually happened. Arithmetic because they are the ones counting out the money at the market. A new language because the child in the next apartment does not speak theirs. Their deen woven through the day at home rather than timetabled as a separate subject.

It is not tidy and it is not for every family. Some weeks are extraordinary and some weeks are just a long drive. But they are curious in a way we recognise, and that was the entire point.

Worldschooling, once we let go

Our children have never asked us for a bigger house. They ask us where we are going next.

How it went

The short version

  1. 2021

    Toptal said yes

Passed the Toptal screening and started earning properly for the first time. It changed what we believed was possible for us.

  2. 2023

    Then it stopped

The contract ended. Six months with no work at all, living off savings, before a new client finally came through. This is the part nobody posts about.

  3. 2025

    We left

Packed up and started travelling as a family, and began sharing the journey on Instagram.

  4. 2026

    We started teaching

Turned what we had learned the slow way into courses and free guides, and built a business around it.

  5. Now

    Germany, and a second passport

We decided the biggest gift we could give our children was another passport, so we are relocating. Hamza is in Germany on the Chancenkarte, looking for the next role.

Who we are

The five of us

Names and faces, since you asked.

Hamza

Hamza

Builds the things

Engineer by trade, ten years of shipping software. Handles the technical side of every course and most of the 3am debugging.

Alishba

Alishba

Runs the ship

The reason anything gets finished. Answers your WhatsApp messages, runs the campaigns, keeps five passports in one bag.

The little ones

The little ones

Chief negotiators

Three children who now compare airports the way other kids compare playgrounds. Deeply unimpressed by all of this.

Our rules

What we hold to

Halal first

No interest based schemes, no gambling adjacent work, no client we would be embarrassed to name.

No survivorship theatre

We show the months that did not work. A story with only wins is not a story, it is an advert.

Free stays free

Every resource on this site is open. If we ever gate one, we will say so plainly.

Nothing is an advert

We take no affiliate deals from any platform we mention. If we recommend a tool, it is because we tested it, not because it pays us.

People over funnels

You get a reply from one of us. Not a bot, not an assistant, not a sequence.

One step is enough

You do not need a plan. You need the first thing.

Open one free guide tonight. That is genuinely how this started for us. One document, read properly, acted on the same week.
